Our dynamic Pathfinder Confirmation Program has been carefully crafted and refined through various curriculum, and the experiences of its leaders, combining tradition with innovative approaches to invite today’s teens to engage deeply with their Catholic faith. Through powerful, tried-and-true activities—including faith-filled retreats, service projects, and small group discussions—students will be challenged, inspired, and empowered to live out their Confirmation with confidence.


It is our hope that teens who commit to this program and allow the Holy Spirit to work through them will walk away with:


1. A Deepened Personal Relationship with Christ  – Through prayer, reflection, and guided spiritual exercises, students will grow closer to Jesus and understand how He is present in their daily lives.

   

2. A Strong Sense of Catholic Identity – Teens will gain a profound understanding of the Sacraments, the teachings of the Church, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, helping them live as committed Catholics.

   

3. A Heart for Service and Evangelization – By engaging in community service and learning to share their faith with others, students will embrace their call to be witnesses of Christ in the world.


By fully embracing the journey of Confirmation, students will be empowered to live out their faith, guided by the Holy Spirit, and ready to face the future with courage and grace.

Super Saturday Schedule

Through powerful day-retreat style classes filled with prayer, fellowship, and meaningful discussions, teens will be equipped and inspired to embrace their faith with confidence and zeal.

Pre-Qualifications


Candidates for Year 1 Confirmation must meet the following criteria:

  • Have already received the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, and Eucharist.
  • Be in 9th grade or above at the start of the program year.
  • Desire to complete the Sacraments of Initiation in the Catholic Church.

Requirements

Attend All Four “Super Saturday” Day Retreats

  • Day Retreats will take place every other month during the program year.

  • Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Attendance at each day retreat is mandatory; absences require prior approval and make-up arrangements.

Attend Mass Regularly

  • Candidates should be active participants in the Sunday liturgy at St. John Paul II.

  • Mass attendance will be monitored periodically throughout the year.

Important: Year 1 completion is required before entering Year 2 of the Confirmation program. Consistent participation demonstrates readiness to receive the Sacrament and a commitment to living the Catholic faith.
