Super Saturday Session 1

  • Base Camp Briefing: What Lies Ahead

In this first session, teens will meet the team who will guide them, get to know one another, and begin building a safe and welcoming space where they can grow in their faith. We’ll set the stage for an exciting year ahead by sharing what to expect from the program, how we’ll walk together on this journey, and what it means to prepare our hearts to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

  • Strength for the Ascent: What is Confirmation?

In this session,  we’ll explore what it means to begin your Confirmation journey. We’ll talk about how faith involves both the heart and mind—you don’t have to know everything, but God invites you to care deeply about who He is and how He’s shaping you. We’ll also focus on how this is your journey—your parents and the Church desire this for you, but only you can make it meaningful. Finally, we’ll set the stage for the year ahead, reminding you that you have a role to play: growth takes effort, and together we’ll prepare our hearts and minds through prayer, learning, and being fully present.

  • The Campfire Circle: Our Faith Community

In this session, we’ll dive into what it means that the Church is one, holy, catholic, and apostolic. These four marks define who we are as the Body of Christ and reveal what the Church is called to become in Him. We’ll explore how our unity with Christ gives the Church its identity and how, as members, we are called to embrace these marks in our own lives—living in a way that radiates the beauty of Christ and His Church to the world.

  • Trail Map: The Creed That Guides Us

In this session, we’ll focus on what it means to grow in our relationship with God by actively seeking to know Him better—including learning about His Church. We’ll explore how the Creed summarizes the core truths of our faith and how understanding it helps us live by God’s revealed truth and grow deeper in our love for Him. Together, we’ll reflect on the importance of learning and growing with purpose and intention as we continue our journey toward Confirmation.

Super Saturday Session 2
