LECTIO DIVINA (Divine Reading) Offered this Fall!
Are you looking to develop a more intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit?
Then, please join us on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:30pm to 8:00 pm in the Community Center at St. Thomas More Catholic Community for Lectio Divina starting with The Gospel of John with commentary from St. Augustine. The sessions will begin on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, and finish May 15, 2026.
Lectio Divina, Latin for Divine Reading, is a spiritual practice that was popularized emphasizing personal prayer and reflection, rather than academic study. Be sure to bring your most loved Bible...
Lectio Divina, can be traced back to the Desert Fathers in the 4th Century, who used this method to meditate on Scripture. Come and experience a new way encounter God through the sacred text, fostering a transformative prayer experience.
Lectio Divina will be facilitated by Dominic Leo Salomone, a Benedictine Oblate of the Order of St. Benedict from St. Meinrad Archabbey. This series is being sponsored by the St. Thomas More Council 17996 of the Knights of Columbus, and all are welcome to attend!
